About Us
Iron Forge is a Ministry devoted to encouraging young boys to become Godly, bold, effective, and obedient men for the glory and honor of our Lord Jesus Christ. In a culture that’s lost the meaning of Godly manhood, it is vital that we work to restore the Scriptural patterns for Godly boyhood and manhood. The goal that the Lord has led me to embark on is clearly defined in Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpeneth iron, so one man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” In this vision statement I would like to use Scripture to define the purpose of Iron Forge Ministries:
Applications:
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Psalm 1:2
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1
Applications:
“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word.” Psalm 119:9
“We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.” Psalm 78:4
Applications:
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Mathew 5:16
“Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another…” Romans 12:10
Encouraging, equipping and challenging are all ways that we can sharpen one another so that we will be prepared for each and every day of battle. My goal is that through studying the Word of God and returning to the Scripture as the ultimate guide for Godly manhood, we can raise up a Godly generation of boys that would grow to be an army of God’s men.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day…" Ephesians 6:12, 13
